A group of 10 talented artists from across India under the leadership of renowned painter Abhimanue Govindan spent 10 days at Agastya's Creativity Lab in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, expressing their artistic fervor through creation of paintings and sculptures.
Following his studies, Abhimanue worked as a teacher for more than 20 years before retiring as an Associate Professor from Delhi College of Art. Over the years Abhimanue had several solo and group exhibitions spanning from Kala-Bhavnaa, Santiniketan to Queens Hall Arts, Hexhum, Northumberland, UK. He is currently living in Baroda. Abhimanaue is an alumni of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda where he received his Bachelor of Arts in painting and Masters in Mural Painting.
Bhuvanesh Kumar is a Performance & Visual artist based in Bangalore. He holds a Masters in Fine arts from College of Art, Delhi. He received a JRF Fellowship Award from the Ministry of Culture. Bhuvanesh has participated in many National & International Art Camps and his works have been exhibited in many shows within and outside the country.
Elancheziyan is a Tamil nadu based artist living in Delhi. He completed his BFA in 2005, from the Govt College of Arts and Crafts, Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu and his MFA in 2017 from the College of Art, New Delhi. He was honored with a state award by the Tamil Nadu Government in 2018. He has participated in many group shows, both India and Overseas.
Mayadhara Sahu completed his BVA from B.K College of Arts and Crafts, Bhubaneswar in 2010. Following this, he obtained his MVA degree in sculpture from MS university Baroda. Currently practicing in Baroda, Mayadhara received the Elizabeth Green Shields Award in 2013 and the Ministry of Culture Young Artist scholarship in 2011.
Uday Singh is a Delhi based visual artist who completed his Post Graduation from the College of Art in Delhi. He works in many different mediums and is currently freelancing.
Krishna Trivedi completed her B.V.A. in 2013 and M.V.A in 2015 from the MS University of Baroda in painting. Currently practicing in Baroda, she received the Ministry of Culture Young Artist Scholarship in 2014. She has participated in several group shows in India
Parul Sinha is currently based in Delhi. She completed her M.F.A and B.F.A in painting from College of Art, Delhi in 2016 and 2014 respectively. She too received the Young Artist Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, 2015.
Sreeju Radhakrishnan is a Kerala artist practicing and living in Vadodara. He completed his BFA in 2010 from Sree Sankaracharya University in Kalady, Kerala and obtained his masters degree from the RLV college Thrippunithura, Kerala. He also did a two years fellowship from the Kanoria Art Center in Ahmedabad. He has participated in group shows in India and in countries abroad.
Abhishek completed his BFA in painting from the College of Art, New Delhi in 2012 and MVA in Graphics from M.S University, Baroda in 2015. He has participated in several National and International exhibitions like the 57th and 58th NEA- LKA, Kochi-Muziris Student Biennale, DMZ Art Festival, Korea etc. and in the National Art Conclave organized by LKA, New Delhi in 2016 and 2017.
Rinku Chauhan completed his M.F.A. Sculpture from College of Art, Delhi. His work is majorly focused on experiments with mediums and play of forms. Spontaneity is a major characteristic of his process as he plan his works on the spot.
Murugan is a Tamil Nadu based artist currently living in Chennai. He completed his BFA in 2012 from the Government College of Arts and Crafts,Chennai and his MFA in 2005 from the College of Art, New Delhi. He was the winner of both - national award and Tamil Nadu state award in 2015.
